Youth Leadership and Professional Development Training Program

December 2010-June 2011 (Phase - 1)

The Youth Leadership and Professional Development Training Program offered to non -elite students from various universities of  Sindh is a unique learning opportunity provided by Young Social Reformers with the support of U.S. Consulate General Karachi.

The leadership process begins by strengthening individual leadership skills, this program offers opportunities for youngsters to develop the fundamental skills that are helpful to maintain successful personal relationships, contributing to various organizations, and participating as citizens in our community.  The development of leadership is a life-long process that starts with the potential within an individual. To identify this potential this program will utilize the expertise of experienced professional development trainers and skilled ECA alumni using FM radio and training methodology as a mechanism to disseminate adequate information and serve as the catalyst for recognizing and pursuing that potential in young individuals by addressing the following disciplines:

• Skills Development

• Civic Engagement

• Youth Volunteering and Community Service

• Charting the Future

This program highly depends upon its partners and immensely engages different organizations and institutes for execution and implementation.
