Lets celebrate to make a difference in the

To keep our mission going we are organizing a
carnival for a noble cause on 30th June at Pakistan Maritime
Museum has been postponed it will now take place on 26th August. The proceeds of the carnival will go to DUA Dialysis
center for the provision of free dialysis facilities to the less
privileged people.

National
Youth Leadership Conference 2008
NYLC
2008
is an annual event that takes place at the start of the year,
it
focuses on a wide variety of issues and challenges debated not
only in Pakistan but also all over the world. It serves as a
tool for youngsters to enhance their leadership skills and
practically demonstrate them.

EID MILAN DINNER
YSR Management Team
cordially invites the governing body of YSR, dignitaries from
the private and public sector, friends and well wishers in an
Eid Milan Party which will be held in second week of November.
Charity
Concert at Beach View Park
Young Social Reformers
organized a charity concert at Beach View Park on 15th May
2006 and contributed all the donations to the President's
relief fund for earthquake effected victims.
International
Delegates Dinner for W.S.F. Participants
YSR hosted
all the International Participants who participated in the
World Social Forum for a dinner on 27th March 2006 at Women's
Jogging Park. This dinner attracted at least 300 guests from
various parts of the world. The dinner also had
dignitaries from the public and private sector of
Pakistan providing all present a chance for networking and
advocacy.

insight into the future than recognizing that, when we save
youth, we save ourselves"- Margaret Mead.
 Youth
Leadership Conference focused on a wide variety of issues and
challenges debated not only in Pakistan but also all over the
world. The Conference slogan for the year 2006 is
“Empowering Youth for a Sustainable future”. It is a
reflection of the change in the mindset of our societies. The
conference provided innovative ideas and different
perspectives by using a variety of techniques strategies and
methodologies to make our today’s youth independent and more
learned.
Voluntary
Relief Work for Earthquake Effected Victims
 YSR
managing team and members actively volunteered their time and
expertise in the relief work being carried out in Karachi to
help the earthquake victims at the time of need. All the
members worked whole heartedly at PAF Museum in sending relief
items. They also welcomed the relief items being sent by the
Muslims from the Middle East brought to Karachi by US Ship
Pearl Harbor.
INTERNATIONAL YOUTH JAM
2005
 The
IYJ campaign seeks to connect the opportunities for Youth in
serving the welfare of the planet, through youth.
Organizations across the world are working towards global
aspirations: gender equality, human rights, working across
borders on global issues, trafficking street, street children,
peace between India and Pakistan, education, technology,
cultural diversity, HIV/Aids.
